The contribution will be donated by 29 of our senior players, which will help the ladies with training, match day and travel costs.
The ladies club has steadily progressed in size and stature over the last few years and it is now working toward its new goal of achieving FA Centre of Excellence status from the start of season 2003/4.
Spurs captain Teddy Sheringham commented: "We are happy to help out the ladies team where we can. The lads were keen on getting involved and we hope the contribution can make a difference.
Glenn Weaver, chairman of the Tottenham Hotspur Ladies Football Club, added: "This is a very generous donation by the senior squad.
"Our players are keen to reach the highest levels in women’s football and the contribution by the team will make a significant difference to our players and the Club."
Established in 1992, Tottenham Hotspur Ladies Football Club now has five teams that include U11, U13, U15, Reserve and First team squad. Competing in the Premier Division of the Greater London Regional Women’s League, the team plays its home matches at Brimsdown Rovers Football Club.
