The striker had to wait until the final seconds for his moment of glory at White Hart Lane as we finally bagged the goal our dominance of the third round tie deserved.
As everyone else held their breath, Andy was calmness personified, latching onto Scott Tyher's through pass and speeding away from the Forest back line before slotting into the corner. There was barely enough time left for Forest to launch another attack.
"I'm glad I scored but it's just brilliant to win and go through to the next round, that's all that mattered," said Andy modestly afterwards.
"We didn't manage it last year and I was involved in that and bitterly disapppointed so I'm glad we're through."
Andy added that the lads deserved credit for sticking to their guns after hitting the crossbar twice and seeing a host of chances go to waste.
"Our heads could have dropped after missing chances but we stuck at it, stayed on top and finally got our rewards," he said.
"We were all over them and we finally got the result and that's all the matters. All in all it was a great experience."
Andy Barcham admitted it 'felt great' to score the injury time winner against Forest in the FA Youth Cup last night.
