Benji on decisive dozen

Benji Stambouli has highlighted the importance of Wednesday’s clash with Swansea City to our overall campaign, insisting every game between now and the end of the season is crucial.

With 12 domestic fixtures left, we take on the Swans at White Hart Lane looking to add three more points to our Premier League total.

With some of the loftier positions in the table still very much within reach, the central midfielder is confident and enthusiastic about our upcoming challenges.

“Every game is important – we have 12 matches left and every single one is key,” insisted Benji. “We have some good targets to aim for in the Premier League and we have to move forward with our heads up.

“What’s important is to have a good mentality and a strong will to win. We need to be aggressive in a good way. If we put all of these factors together – focus, a good mentality, positivity – then we will win. We have to be focused on ourselves.”

Assessing our clash with Garry Monk’s men, Benji believes home advantage could come into play.

“It will be a tough game,” he added. “We will play our football and with our fans behind us we will try to beat them at White Hart Lane.

“We are confident, we know our job and we will do it.”
