The full-back fronted up for Spurs TV after that 1-0 loss in the Premier League last week.
He was on the bench as we put it right in superb style against Sunderland on Saturday and now preparing to face the Foxes again, he told us last week’s loss was now gone.
“You move on,” said the full-back. “We’ve had time thinking about that game and it’s time to go to the next one.
“The lads put in a great display at the weekend to get back to winning ways and we want to continue that against Leicester. We know it will be tough, we’ve played them twice in quick succession already and this is another important game.
“We’re focused and we’ll aim for the win.”
The teams now know each other inside-out - so what had the players learned over the three games we’ve played against Claudio Ranieri’s men so far?
“We have to be switched on at all time,” he added. “They fully believe they can win every 50-50, every second ball and we can’t switch off for a minute.
“They make it difficult to get any time or space. They’ve picked up some great results, home and away, so I’m sure they will approach this in the same way.”
