The Three Lions qualified for the quarter-finals after topping Group D and are now preparing for Sunday's clash against Italy in Kiev.
Scott started all three group games, displaying all the passion and workrate in central midfield that made him such a fans favourite in his first season at Spurs.
He's hoping there is more to come from Roy Hodgson's men.
"We have a belief inside the camp, our aim was to win the group and we've achieved that," said Scott, who trained alongside team-mate Jermain Defoe at England's base in Krakow, Poland, on Friday morning.
"Belief and believing in what you can do goes a long way in general life, not just in football. This squad has shown that if you believe, you're positive and you're confident you can do well.
"We are what we are, we're committed, we've got a good base, a good bunch of lads and with that you can go a long way.
“We now look forward to the quarter-final against Italy," added Scott on FA.com.
"We get an extra day now, which is key for us, we'll go and prepare for that game like we've prepared for all the others, and hopefully we can get the result.”
Portugal booked their place in the semi-finals with a 1-0 win against the Czech Republic on Thursday night.
Germany take on Greece in the second quarter-final tonight followed by Spain against France on Saturday and then England on Sunday. All matches kick-off at 7.45pm UK time.
