The Club's ticket allocation for our away trip to Bayer Leverkusen in the group stage of the UEFA Cup has now been confirmed. In line with UEFA rules, we have been allocated 5% of the stadium capacity, equal to 1125 tickets.

Unfortunately, because Bayer Leverkusen’s ground has a relatively small capacity and they sell out for most of their matches we have not been able to secure a further allocation of tickets above the 5% minimum, unlike our other away matches in the competition so far against Slavia Prague and Besiktas.

As expected, we have been inundated with requests for tickets for this match. Season Ticket Holders who applied for a ticket and who have a group average (where applicable) 320 + loyalty points have been successful. Season Ticket Holders who have applied for a ticket but who have less than a group average of 320 loyalty points will not be allocated a ticket. Please note, the policy for the allocation of these tickets is in accordance with the terms set out in our Ticket Charter and, as such, if applications were in the form of a group booking, the Loyalty Points were calculated on an average basis across the group. Successful applicants will receive their match tickets next week.

Our final game in the Group Stage of the UEFA Cup is at home to Dinamo Bucarest on December 14. Despite our victory against Club Brugge and whatever happens in our game against Bayer Leverkusen, our match against Dinamo Bucarest is likely to be extremely important, both in terms of our qualification for the next round and also who might face in the next round.

Teams that finish top of the group play a team that finished third in one of the other UEFA Cup groups, with teams that finish second in the group facing a team that has finished third in one of the Champions League groups and who therefore have been eliminated from that competition and then enter the UEFA Cup at the last 32 stage. Teams currently in third place in the Champions League groups include the likes of Barcelona, Porto and Galatasaray.
