Lee Barnard talks us through a week at Crewe that saw him come up against a Spurs team-mate in League One!

SATURDAY was frustrating against Millwall, a 0-0 draw here at Crewe. A point was okay, but it was a game we were all determined to win. I think I need to up my own game as well. I had a good debut against Huddersfield but the last two games haven't gone my way and chances have been a bit thin on the ground.

I'M ALWAYS thinking about my game and I've found that's probably even more the case when I've been away from Spurs. We get DVDs of the matches and you analyse everything and assess what you could do better. I'm my own biggest critic and I'm determined for things to go well here.

THERE was a familiar face in the opposition last weekend - Jamie O'Hara! He's currently on loan at Millwall and we came up against each other at Gresty Road on Saturday. I thought he played well, got around the pitch and had a few efforts at goal. It was strange playing against a team-mate and someone I know so well and there was a moment in the second half when I had to chase him down the touchline, he went down and wanted a free-kick and the referee didn't give it! He went spare! Anyway, we spoke before and after and it was good to see him.

I WAS able to travel home on Wednesday and it was great to see everyone. Otherwise it's been a fairly normal week, training hard and doing the food shopping!

OLDHAM is the next stop for us with an away game on Saturday. It will be a tough one as they went to Walsall and won 3-0 in midweek, so they will be on a high.
