Lee Barnard believes he has turned the corner in his recovery from the ankle surgery that has forced him out of contention so far this season.
The prolific reserve team striker who broke into the first team picture towards the end of last season has been a frustrated figure around the training ground since the campaign began in August, but the smile is gradually creeping back onto the face of the 22-year-old.
"I am doing alright now!" reported Barney. "I've turned the corner and I'm now doing a lot more running and ball work. I'm still not 100 per cent, but I'm getting there and pretty close.
"I can see the light now and I'm feeling much happier."
