And Ledley will also be taking heart from last season’s league defeat of the Blues at White Hart Lane, and hopes we can make beating top sides a more regular occurrence as we look to push into the top half of the table.
He said: “We know that going to Chelsea isn’t easy because they don’t give much away and they can grind results out.
“We have to make sure we do everything we can to be ready for the game and we’ll be going into it confidently after our last away performance, and I know we can get the three points.
“As with all the top sides, we’ve been getting closer and closer in games and getting draws, so we’ve got to turn them into wins now.
“We beat Chelsea at home last season, and with the players that we’ve got, we can beat anyone on our day. We just have to make sure it is our day.
“I think it’s only a matter of time before we break into the top half of the table and we can push on from there.”
