Three goals in 21 minutes set the tone for the encounter, a beginning that Teemu said was vital to our ambitions in the game.
"We started off very brightly in the game and that is what we needed to do," reasoned the midfielder. "We played in midweek and it was really important to get off to a good start - it was exactly what we did. Early goals help a lot, especially after we went down to ten men, and a three goal lead did prove enough.
"It was how we played last season, if you remember, we defended hard and scored some good goals. Hopefully we can keep going now," he continued, before adding that the application showed in the second half with 10 men was just as pleasing as the storming start to the first.
"Oh yes, when you saw the red card come out you thought there is still a long way to go against a team like Bolton. I had a little hamstring problem at the end of the first half, but there was no way I was going to come off with us being a man down at the time.
"Everybody showed a lot of courage in defending very well together. We also counter-attacked well and scored another goal.
"We really wanted to win the game. We needed it because of our recent results and it turned out to be a great week."
Meanwhile, the Club have applied to participate in the 2007 Inter Toto Cup should we not gain entry to the UEFA Cup via final league position, this season's tournament or FA Cup. The competition involves one round in July before, if successful, progressing to the pre-qualifying round of the UEFA Cup proper.

Teemu Tainio believes the performance of the team against Bolton on Sunday was something of a throwback to the form of last season. The boys certainly more than matched the physical approach of Sam Allardyce's side, they defended robustly and made their class tell in attack with a clinical four-goal display.
