Heurelho Gomes is well aware of how big the occasion is as we prepare to meet holders Inter Milan in the Champions League at the San Siro tonight.
But the goalkeeper is used to the main stage having played a semi-final of this competition in the famous stadium against AC Milan five years ago while at PSV Eindhoven.
And he does not feel a game of this magnitude will overwhelm us and stop the team playing in its usual forward-thinking way.
Gomes said: "Of course this is one of the biggest games of my career, but I also played the semi-final against Milan and have played against other big clubs.
"This game is so special because Inter are the champions. I know how difficult it is to play at the San Siro, so of course this is a tough game for us.
"But I think we need to keep to our game. When you play defensively, it is difficult to be defending all the time. You have to attack as well because Champions League matches are very open."
And Gomes has identified a number of factors that could prove decisive in the game - who will come out on top in the battle of Gareth Bale vs Maicon? How will our defence stop the free-scoring Samuel Eto'o? And which Brazilian international goalkeeper will shine on the night!?
Our stopper says: "Me and Julio Cesar were talking about the game earlier in the week. He said they need to win and if I let a goal in it will be easy for them, but if not it will be difficult!
"He is a great goalkeeper who I have a lot of respect for. I have known him for a long time and he is a great guy. It will be a great encounter.
"I am very excited to see how it will go between Bale and Maicon because Gareth is on fire and Maicon is a great right-back.
"Eto'o is also a quality player but I have played many times against great strikers and have stopped a couple of them!
"It is difficult to stop him but we just need to concentrate. Inter is not just about him, we need to think about their whole team."
