TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR COMMUNITY
Currently, Tottenham Hotspur Community is active in 75 schools in Haringey, Enfield, North London, Herts and Essex during term time, delivering approximately 310,000 Community Coaching places.
We aim to provide access to appropriate facilities and qualified coaching to give all young people, boys and girls, the chance to fulfil their potential. In each school holiday, coaching courses are offered in a wide variety of venues including White Hart Lane, local leisure centres and schools. The holiday sessions run in 19 venues, seeing approximately 34,000 daily attendees.
In addition to our coaching activities, we deliver projects that maximise football's potential to raise educational standards and tackle youth crime. We have also been able to implement a more inclusive curriculum through increased access to and participation in football for the disabled. This has been achieved through development programmes for the deaf/hearing impaired, the visually impaired, those with cerebral palsy, wheelchair users and those mental health and learning difficulties.
