The midfielder had to be stretchered off after 79 minutes of our defeat at Portsmouth last night.
"Atouba took a ligament injury on the inside of his knee," reported Dean at Spurs Lodge this afternoon. "He went for a scan this morning and we'll be able to assess the full extent of it in a couple of days.
"When someone gets a knock like that there are often two or three structures that can be a bit sore and tender and it often takes a couple of days to assess it fully."
Physio Dean Kenneally reports that Thimothee Atouba has a knee ligament injury and we'll know more from the results of scans taken this morning later in the week.
