Aaron Lennon and Tom Huddlestone were instrumental as England Under-21s defeated their Slovenian counterparts at Hull City's KC Stadium in an international friendly.
The pair each had a hand in goals for Stuart Pearce's side, which were scored by Micah Richards and James Milner, as England came from behind to win 2-1.
Tom picked out Richards with a pinpoint cross for the Manchester City defender's 25th minute equaliser and continued to display his trademark wide range of passing before being replaced by Fabrice Muamba on 61 minutes.
Aaron turned provider for captain Milner on 35 minutes and went on to feature for 73 minutes until making way for Middlesbrough's Adam Johnson.
The victory provided ideal preparation for the side's crucial European Championship qualifier with Portugal at Wembley next month.
