The defender has been out with a mild hamstring strain for the last fortnight but is back in contention for the Valley after missing the games at Villa, Grimsby and Fulham.
However, Michael Carrick definitely misses out with an ankle problem.
Coach Chris Hughton reported after training on Friday.
"Michael Carrick will just miss out but we're hopeful he will be fit for the Everton game (October 15). We're expecting him to be back in training next week."
Otherwise, long-term injuries Noe Pamarot (knee), Wayne Routledge (broken bone in foot) and Anthony Gardner (thigh) remain out.
