A new-look Tottenham Hotspur Ladies side took their first step in their new league with a goal-less draw against Whitehawk at Cheshunt on Sunday.
The visitors started the stronger, but Spurs soon settled and had to defend deep to hit the visitors on the counter-attack.
Into the second half, Spurs were much the stronger side defensively and looked dangerous on the counter attack, but neither side could break through to hit the back of the net, so the spoils were shared.
The match marked a special occasion for Under-16 goalkeeper Ricole Vyse (pictured), who was making her first-team debut.
The Ladies face an away trip to Luton Town this coming Sunday.
