SPURS LADIES UPDATE

13 May 2008
It was another successful weekend for the Spurs Ladies with the Under-13 and Under-14 sides both victorious.The Under-14 side came out on top in a dramatic Cup semi-final at home to Enfield Town, and despite going 2-0 up with goals from Renata Inniss and Siobhan Jones (pictured, left) before half-time, they were pegged back to 2-2 to take the tie into extra-time.

An Inniss penalty appeared to have won the tie for Spurs before a late equaliser brought about the lottery of a penalty shoot-out, in which Charlotte Dean (pictured, right) held her nerve to slot home the winning spot-kick and take her side through next week’s final with Luton Town.

Meanwhile, the Under-13s were convincing 3-0 winners away at Lea Valley, with goals from Tori Tripp, Amy Woff and Bobbi Cubberley.

The Under-15 Whites’ home fixture with Watford was postponed and awarded to Spurs.
