John Bostock struck late to hand our reserves a training ground friendly win against Middesbrough on Tuesday.
The lads fell behind after 20 minutes at Boro's Rockcliffe Park training HQ but responded within 15 minutes when Kevin-Prince Boateng crossed for Kyle Fraser-Allen to score.
We had a greater share of possession in the second half and the performance was rewarded with a cracker from 20 yards by Bostock (pictured) after good work from Charlie Daniels for the 2-1 final score.
Development coach Clive Allen reported: "It was an excellent game with both sides going about it in the right way.
"It was an even first half but we dominated possession after the break and got into some great positions without taking advantage.
"With 10 minutes left we worked the ball down the left and John Bostock struck the ball into the roof of the net from the edge of the box.
"Overall it was a great exercise for us."
