Fulham boss Roy Hodgson felt his side deserved their point as we finished goalless at the Lane on Boxing Day.
We enjoyed plenty of possession and saw Luka Modric go close twice, Ledley King once and Mark Schwarzer produced a fine save to deny Aaron Lennon.
However, Fulham also had their chances and Heurelho Gomes had to be at his best to thwart Clint Dempsey and Andy Johnson.
It was the Cottagers' fourth-successive goalless draw on their travels in the Premier League and they are on a run of eight unbeaten matches.
"We knew it wasn't going to be an easy game particularly after Spurs were wounded by the Newcastle result," said Hodgson.
"We had to be organised and I would venture to say that it was a point that was well-earned.
"We showed that although we are not scoring and winning we're not too far away from getting results away from home.
"We had a couple of chances were I thought we might win it. They had the lion's share of possession but I thought we had the better chances.
"The players worked hard on their defensive duties. Tottenham are a team that score goals and create a lot of opportunties but we didn't give them many chances. We fully deserved a point."
