Phil Brown admitted his Hull side were 'in dreamland' after Sunday's 1-0 win at the Lane.

Geovanni's free-kick in the eighth minute secured victory as the visitors rode their luck - we struck the woodwork twice in the first half - but also defended brilliantly in the second half as we piled forward in search of an equaliser.

It wasn't to be, Hull hung on and completed a north London double in the space of eight days after last week's win at Arsenal.

They are up to third in the Premier League and boss Brown said: "It is dreamland. Tottenham had plenty of possession and 23, 24 chances but the best chances fell to us.

"We defended manfully, kept our discipline, kept our shape and did well. I don't think there is ever a good time to go to somewhere like White Hart Lane. You have to stick to your beliefs.

"I have sympathy for Juande Ramos. There has to be winners and losers but I have no doubt once they get that first win the shackles will come off and the players will play with confidence."
