Jonathan Woodgate is looking up rather than down as we face another big game in the Premier League against Everton on Sunday.
Victory will see us climb to within a point of the Toffees, who started the weekend in seventh place but with the current state of play in the league, now find themselves in 10th.
Indeed, there is only eight points between the relegation zone and fifth place.
"We are only four points behind Everton who are close to the top six so Sunday is a vital game," said Woody.
"There are so many points up for grabs and I'm sure we can push for a spot but, first and foremost, we are at the bottom of the table and must win games.
"The top six is an aim but we are at the bottom of the table at the moment and must dig deep.
"We are not thinking about Europe right now, let's not get carried away. We are playing well and have a lot of belief in the dressing room and, hopefully, that will continue."
