Spurs Ladies defeated fellow strugglers Bedford Town Belles 3-1 at the weekend to move three places clear of their opponents in the FA South-East Combination.
Jessie Richards (2) and Fiona Butterfield (pictured) were the goalscorers, with young goalkeeper Ricole Vyse showing some good handling to preserve the points at the other end.
The Reserves, meanwhile, were emphatic 4-0 winners at home to Hampstead, despite having to wait until the 57th minute before breaking the deadlock.
Amanda O'Neill struck twice before an own goal and a strike from Fran Hussey, who had earlier missed a penalty, sealed the victory.
There were also wins for the Under-11 and Under-13 sides. Two goals in the last 10 minutes from Ellis Lunn gave the Under-11s a home win over Enfield Town A, while a brace from Georgia Miller was the highlight in the Under-13s 5-2 defeat of Headstone Manor.
There was drama as the Under-14s came back from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw with Harvesters, while there were defeats for the Under-16 Whites and Under-10 Blues.
