Luka Modric and Vedran Corluka are with Croatia and will look to recover from the loss against England last time out when they travel to Ukraine on Saturday before facing Andorra at home next week.
Roman Pavlyuchenko's Russia face Germany away and Finland at home while Giovani travels first to Jamaica before facing Paul Stalteri's Canada.
Meanwhile, Didier Zokora only has the one match for Ivory Coast in African qualifying against Madagascar in Abidjan on Saturday.
