Harry Redknapp watched Burnley at QPR on Saturday and has been impressed with tonight's Carling Cup semi-final opponents.
Boss Harry was at Loftus Road to witness Burnley's goalless draw against Rangers in the third round of the FA Cup.
Promotion-chasing Clarets, currently fourth in the Championship, have already bagged a London hat-trick in the Carling Cup by knocking out Fulham, Chelsea and Arsenal and Harry expects a tough test over two legs with a Wembley final against Manchester United or Derby County the prize.
"I watched them at QPR and they were excellent," said Harry. "They were strong and QPR hardly had a shot on goal. They are solid, organised and have experienced players. They are dangerous opponents.
"Owen Coyle has got them playing some great football and he's done a fantastic job there.
"I thought Steve Cotterill did a great job as well and it couldn't have been an easy job for Owen to follow but he's come in and done ever so well.
"They've had a fantastic run. They've knocked out Fulham, Chelsea and Arsenal - the result against Chelsea was outstanding and that just shows you.
"They'll be tough opponents. I went there last year with Portsmouth in the Carling Cup and we scraped home 1-0 but in fairness we were lucky to win because they played very well.
"On any given day, in the cup, they can raise their game - but they have proved themselves and have quality players. We won't be underestimating them."
