While the lads were booking their place in the quarter-final of the Carling Cup on Tuesday night against Everton, supporters were also doing their bit off the pitch by taking advantage of the electric 'hedgehog' recycling vehicles positioned outside the ground.
As a launch partner for the 10:10 campaign, which has seen the Club commit to cutting it's emissions by 10% by 2010, we're asking every fan to get involved and giving you a helping hand along the way.
On Tuesday night the Club introduced a number of specially designed football-themed recycling, provided by Seymour Green - CLICK HERE - vehicles where supporters had the opportunity to recycle aluminium cans and plastic bottles.
If you missed the opportunity to recycle on Tuesday night then don't worry - the hedgehogs will be back at the Lane for the Sunderland match on Saturday week, November 7.
