The mood is certainly buoyant after a bright start to the campaign - two wins out of two in both the Premier League and Europa League, with 10 goals scored and four clean sheets.
And of course, there’s also the addition of a number of quality players at the club with Vlad Chiriches, Erik Lamela and Christian Eriksen all joining us on Friday.
"It's very intense, full of history, full of passion, full of emotion,” said Andre.
“The players are completely up for it. Arsenal will be the same. We look forward to having a special game against them.
“I found it amazing (last year). It moves every single person in the building. Everybody wants to win these derbies.”
As always, Andre will set out to be positive and look for the three points at the Emirates.
“We always set up to attack, to try to win the game,” he added.
“Last year we started well, but ended up with 10 men which made it very difficult at their ground. But hopefully we can build from our results from the start of this season and do something special.
"We have players in the dressing room who have experience of this derby and they know what it means. When they go into the game, they go in with drive and focus.
“We can assure the fans that our commitment is to win the game, our set up is try and win the game, and we're looking forward to it."
