The group attended the First Team training session and met players and coaching staff as part of the Club’s ongoing support for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal ahead of Remembrance Sunday.
Over 30 servicemen and women attended Monday night’s win over Aston Villa, at which over £6,000 was raised for the Poppy Appeal.
The team will wear special edition poppy shirts in the Remembrance Sunday match against Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday, which will be signed and auctioned off for the Poppy Appeal.
In addition to the shirts, Harry Kane, Jan Vertonghen and Hugo Lloris have had special edition poppy emblazoned boots made, in Hugo’s case also goalkeeper gloves, that have been signed and will be added to the auction. Further information on the auction to follow.
