Name: Aramide Oteh.
Born: September 10, 1998, at Lee Green in Lewisham.
Last school: Kemnal Technology College in Orpington, Kent.
Position: Striker. This season I’ve played some games on the left of midfield but I’m usually a centre-forward.
Representative honours: None as yet.
When did you first start training for Spurs? With the Under-8s. I trained two days per week at Chigwell and then at Myddelton House on Saturdays.
Was it difficult to adjust to full time training? It was a bit tough to start with because I’d been injured for a while, but now it’s fine and I’m really enjoying it.
What player would you like to emulate? I like to watch footage of different strikers on YouTube and assess their different skills. Mainly I like to watch Jermain Defoe (pictured, below).
What are his qualities? His running in behind, plus his goals. He scored a lot for Tottenham and it’s important to be able to do it at the highest level.
Who do you like to watch in training? Harry Kane.
What are his qualities? He’s a good finisher, he’s strong and he runs well with the ball.
Who is currently the best player in the world? Cristiano Ronaldo.
What are his qualities? He’s done it at Manchester United and at Real Madrid, breaking records as he goes along. Even though he’s getting older he’s still getting better.
What is your ultimate ambition? To play in the Premier League.
What’s your favourite aspect of training? Games and shooting practice.
And the worst? Probably the warm-up because I just want to get straight into the action.
Has anyone else in your family played professional football? No.
• Car: Bugatti Vehron.
• Radio station: talkSPORT.
• Computer game: FIFA 16.
• Other sport: Badminton. I was quite good at it in school.
• Other sportsman: Floyd Mayweather Jr (pictured, above). He went undefeated despite all the hype around him. He proved his doubters wrong and just got on with it.
If not a footballer what would you like to be? I’d probably still want to work within the football industry, maybe as a coach.
