Aquascutum will provide made to measure suits from its world-renowned collections to the Tottenham Hotspur First Team Squad, Coaching Staff, Management and Board of Directors.
The new agreement will see two iconic London brands join forces in global partnership. With over 300 stores worldwide, Aquascutum has a strong international presence, particularly in Asia where Tottenham Hotspur has over 170 million followers.
First Team players Ryan Mason and Ben Davies visited Aquascutum’s flagship London store this week to mark the start of the partnership, meeting staff and sampling the latest clothing lines.
Founded in 1851, this is the first time Aquascutum has partnered with a football club. The luxury fashion brand will use Tottenham Hotspur’s profile and extensive communications channels to showcase its iconic menswear ranges to the Club’s global fanbase.
Mark Taylor, Chief Operating Officer for Aquascutum, said: “We are delighted to be entering into this exciting new relationship with Tottenham Hotspur, which will provide us with a global platform to further showcase our brand and iconic designs. Like Aquascutum, Tottenham Hotspur has a rich history and is synonymous with style and flair, making them the perfect choice of partner for us.”
Fran Jones, Head of Partnerships at Tottenham Hotspur, added: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Aquascutum for the next three years. Tottenham Hotspur and Aquascutum both have their roots in London and are ambitious, global brands. We look forward to working with Aquascutum to support our mutual objectives both at home and in key markets internationally.”
