The young defender talks about his rise from the Academy to England international - and it's perfect timing after he was called into the senior squad for the third time by Roy Hodgson this week.
Now 21, Steven reflects on the day he was invited for a trial at Spurs at centre-half, even though he'd only played a few games in that position for his county having played in midfield for most of his junior career.
"When I arrived at Spurs for that trial, I told them I was a centre-half," he said. "Although I had only played a few games there, it felt comfortable and natural to me so I decided to give it a go. It was the stuff of dreams really because suddenly things took off for me."
It's safe to say the rest is history - as a call-up to the Olympics, 25 appearances for our first team and a first senior England cap this season underlines.
Steven is joined by a long cast list in April's Hotspur.
Tom Carroll - who won his first England U21 cap last week - reflects on another positive campaign, Lewis Holtby talks about his first couple of months at Spurs and Jermain Defoe gives his views on all sorts of topics, including Gareth Bale and the strength of the current squad - according to JD, the best in his time at the club.
With his wealth of experience, when William Gallas talks, people tend to listen - and he tells us this month that he believes the club is on the right path to sustained success.
We also get to learn a few things about Jake Livermore, who takes the Box To Box challenge, including that he doesn't rate himself too highly on the dancefloor! "I'll always get up and have a go!" he smiles.
As always, legends are to the fore and we've exclusive columns with Ledley King and Ossie Ardiles and features on the great Alan Gilzean, Nayim, Alfie Conn and our 1950-51 title-winning manager Arthur Rowe.
