Another major breakthrough

You may recall an announcement made on tottenhamhotspur.com in March this year that prolific ticket-touting website official-tickets.net had been removed in its entirety and all related domains suspended by their host.

The website was known to sell tickets illegally to fans for Premier League matches, including those at White Hart Lane, for anything up to seven times the face value, and were often never delivered to the buyer.

Further to this, we have continued to work in conjunction with other Premier League clubs in an action to bring down the specific website club domains, such official-tottenham-tickets.com, which continued to trade and illegally tout tickets to the public whilst the host website was shut down.

This is a huge breakthrough in our on-going fight against ticket touting and the first case of its kind where Premier League clubs have worked together to bring an end to brand abuse and illegal ticket distribution.

We would like to take this opportunity to reassure fans that the Club shall continue do all it can to stamp out ticket touting, and hope this serves as a warning to potential offenders.
