Three second half goals saw us slip to a 3-0 defeat against West Ham United at White Hart Lane just before the international break, meaning we head to Villa Park very much seeking a positive reaction.
Our 4-0 win at Villa in the Capital One Cup last month is still fresh in the memory, but with precious Premier League points at stake, winger Andros knows we can draw inspiration from our previous visit to Villa Park, while at the same time learning lessons from the Hammers result.
“We can’t forget what happened the last time we played in the Premier League,” said the 22-year-old.
“It was a disappointing day for us all, but we’ve had two weeks to put it to the back of our minds, and now we’re back to business and hopefully we can put the wrongs right and get three points.”
Paul Lambert’s side has already defeated Arsenal and Manchester City so far this season in the Premier League – and Andros is fully aware that they’ll be keen to add another scalp to their collection this weekend.
“Villa are a good side,” he went on. “You’ve seen what they’ve done so far this season, they’ve been competitive, especially at Villa Park.
“They are a good side and we’ll have to be at the top of our game to get the three points.”
