The first leg went perfectly at the Lane as goals from Gareth Bale, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Jan Vertonghen secured a 3-0 victory.
However, Andre and the players are approaching the second leg with caution and with the emphasis of 'playing our normal game'.
Nevertheless, an away goal with mean Inter have to score five and, just like our Round of 32 second leg in Lyon, that means Andre is looking to go forward, rather than protect our position in the overall tie.
"This is a top European club and a difficult stadium to come to," said Andre at Wednesday night's training session at the San Siro.
"We don’t have to warn the players against complacency because they know the task ahead.
"It would be negative from us to set up defensively. We need to try to score a very important away goal. We’ve done that a lot of times since the start of the season and if we do it again, it puts us in a comfortable position."
Not surprisingly, Inter are expected to take the second leg to us, not least after what happened in the first leg last week.
"That’s in the mind of the players, to be aware of that initial strength from Inter and to make sure we do our jobs," added Andre.
"We want to be in the last eight and that’s something we’ve fought hard to achieve."
