We take our fine away form – three wins, one defeat, one goal conceded – to the Etihad, where City have won five out of five so far in the Premier League.
“We have high ambitions for this season. We want to do well. We want to win the game against City and that’s our main aim, to focus and achieve that result,” said Andre.
“You can feel the buzz. Mentally, the players go up a level, and that’s normal. It’s a big stage and a game against big players.
“We’ll go there to play the game, to try to attack them but with the understanding that their potential at home is extraordinary.”
City’s home form includes a 4-0 win against Newcastle, 4-1 against Manchester rivals United, 3-1 against Everton and a 7-0 drubbing of Norwich.
“We can expect an open game with chances created by both sides,” added Andre.
“They have found a deadliness in terms of finishing that we haven’t yet found, and that’s important. But we create chances and we have to make sure we’re as deadly as them and finish situations off.”
