The Belgian international stepped out for his first appearance at the start of his second half and impressed immediately with his incisive passing.
He then brought the house down with a fine strike to open the scoring after 68 minutes.
Picking up the ball from Jermain Defoe just outside the box, Mousa turned Jonny Howson before hitting an arrow of a shot home with his left foot from 18 yards.
Unfortunately, the dream debut didn’t end as planned as Robert Snodgrass fired home a late equaliser for the Canaries.
"Mousa looked extremely good and it was a great finish,” said Andre.
“He's a player who has tremendous technical skills, very creative playing forward and he really improved our game in the second half.
“He's a player we can count on for the season.”
