*And now for the sunshine

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Shoot For A Holiday returned to the pitch at half time during our match against Liverpool on Wednesday and Spurs fan Rob Plews and Liverpool fan John Eccleston battled it out under the floodlights with both posting very quick times.

It was Rob that came through with a time of 8.1 seconds to win a Thomson Holiday to the Dominican Republic.

A regular fixture in his local Sunday team, Rob put in an impressive performance as he easily beat Chirpy in goal: “I was pretty nervous but I’m just relieved to have got the job done! Seeing Jermain dribbling around the deckchairs at half-time inspired me though, that and the cracking support from the Tottenham fans!”

Although he won the Thomson holiday in the freezing cold, Rob is now looking forward to some sunshine for the actual trip as he’s off to a great week in the Dominican Republic for two!

Liverpool fan John, a great sport, conceded that on the day things didn’t quite go his way: “Can’t believe I had such a good first run and then hit the post! Still I loved the experience and good luck to Rob, he deserved it on the night.”

Shoot For A Holiday will return at our home game against Crystal Palace on December 28th. Next time it might be you winning two tickets to the match, a full kit to keep and of course the chance to play on the hallowed turf here at White Hart Lane in front of 36,000 fans, with the chance to actually score a goal!

Don't forget, Spurs members can now get 5% off the cost of their holidays when they book on the Spurs Holiday Line 08705 502 568.
