Rafa van der Vaart said continuing his incredible run against Arsenal on Sunday was 'something special'.
The flying Dutchman made it four goals in three North London derby appearances as we won another memorable encounter 2-1 at the Lane.
Rafa volleyed across Wojciech Szczesny to open the scoring five minutes before half-time.
Aaron Ramsey levelled for the Gunners five minutes into the second half but Kyle Walker's thunderbolt secured the three points, making it four wins on the trot in the Premier League.
"To win against Arsenal is great and everyone is so excited, you feel it the whole day and when I scored the first goal again, I was so happy," reflected Rafa, whose emotions certainly exploded when his volley hit the back of the net.
"It’s crazy. I had a yellow card, so I had to be careful, but you score a goal like that and you forget everything," he said.
"I have to say that how we made the goal was amazing, Jermain did well, a great pass from Adebayor. It was a great goal and I was really happy. It’s something special."
Rafa felt we deserved the victory. "It was a great game, Arsenal played well and we had some problems, but we had the best chances," he added.
"We had a few fantastic counter-attacks and it was a pity we didn’t score more goals, but in the end 2-1, that’s great."
