“I remember from my earlier career playing for Brondby against Liverpool and playing in those games was our chance to show everyone what we could do,” said Allan, famed for his Worthington Cup Final winner at Wembley in 1999, the highlight of his 115 games for us between 1996-2000.
“Those were the big games and Aalborg will think the same coming to White Hart Lane. It’s a famous club and a fantastic stadium and the stage all players want to play on. These players will give everything and Spurs have to be ready for that.
“This will be their biggest game of the season, perhaps for many players the biggest game of their career so far. This is a young squad, a talented squad and they want to show what they can do. That is what Spurs will be up against.”
