All together now

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Teddy Sheringham has reiterated how the togetherness of the team and club can take us to new heights this season.

The 1-0 win at West Ham lifted us into sixth on the Premiership on Saturday (we're now seventh) and was the third win on our travels this season - already topping last season's tally.

Skipper Teddy insisted: "The team is playing well. Everyone is working together, pulling in the same direction and when you've got that you've got a chance.

"Things are coming off for us and this was another great win.

"We knew it would be a difficult game but these are the games we've got to win if we want to do anything this season.

"You don't get anything for being seventh now though. You have to keep on producing results and we'll see where we are at the end of the season."

Teddy joined manager Glenn Hoddle in praising the defence after the victory at Upton Park.

He added: "They were a little understrength without Kanoute and Di Canio but you have to take advantage of the situation.

"We looked very solid at the back, the the defence looked very good and we deserved the points.

"They are all playing well at the back at the moment and the manager has done a lot of work there since the start of the season. It's nice to get the reward of a clean sheet and a win."
