Andy Barcham couldn't hide his delight after bagging one of the goals in the crucial reserve win against Arsenal on Monday.

The young striker opened the scoring as Clive Allen's side completely dominated against their title rivals in front of a packed crowd at Barnet's Underhill Stadium.

Simon Dawkins also scored in the 2-1 win that left us seven points clear of the Gunners at the top of the table.

Andy's fine performance up front continued his personal upturn of fortunes after injury hampered the start of his season.

Those problems meant he didn't make his first reserve start of the season until November and he's only just got a consistent run of games under his belt - he's now started the last seven.

"That felt good," beamed Andy. "I've had injury problems this season so I've struggled with match fitness and that was as sharp as I've felt since I started playing again.

"I woke up in the morning and was so excited to be playing against Arsenal because we expected a big crowd and it was a massive game.

"It was great to be out there and to get on the scoresheet made it a special night.

"It's the business end of the season and we have to continue picking up the results and make sure all the hard work from the start of the season doesn't go to waste."
