Alex Inglethorpe described our Under-18s 3-0 win against Coventry City on Saturday as 'one of the stand-out performances of the season'.

Goals from Victor Zapata-Caicedo, Souleymane Coulibaly and Kenneth McEvoy secured victory.

"We take great pride in the manner of our performances and making more completed passes than our opponents," said coach Alex.

"Our target is always to make 500 completed passes in a game and that's equalivalent to the top end of the Premier League. If you can get to 700 completed passes, then that's up there with Barcelona and we've managed to do that on three occasions this season, the latest against Coventry.

"Statistics like that imply that you've dominated possession and controlled the game.

"We played well against Coventry and took the lead after 16 minutes when Souleymane Coulibaly played in Victor Zapata-Caicedo and Victor finished really well into the bottom corner.

"The second goal came after 79 minutes with good play down the right culminating in Kenneth McEvoy's cross for Souleymane to head home.

"The third goal came about three minutes later and was a great team goal. It started with our triallist goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux to Dominic Ball and Kevin Stewart, who played out from defence. Nabil Bentaleb found Souleymane and he picked out Kenneth, who finished at the far post."

Spurs: Lawrence, Barthram, Ekong, Ball, Stewart, Veljkovic, Bentaleb, Munns (Lameiras, 88), McEvoy (Ward, 85), Zapata-Caicedo, Coulibaly.
