The Daggers face a tough third round replay against Charlton Athletic at Victoria Road, of course, but the carrot for the winners of that one is a plum home draw against Spurs.
D&R boss Garry Hill said: "It's a wonderful incentive. We've got plenty of work still to do against Charlton, but to draw another London Premiership club adds a lot more to the replay.
"I've always been a Spurs supporter myself and our goalscorer at Charlton, Junior McDougald, is a big Spurs fan. So we are very happy with the draw."
Hill also confirmed that the replay against Charlton will take place at Daggers' Victoria Road ground and will not be switched to a bigger venue.
He said: "The replay will be a wonderful evening for everyone connected to this club.
"As far as I am concerned, I want the replay to be played at Victoria Road. We have not even talked to neighbours West Ham in any way or form about switching the tie to Upton Park.
"On behalf of the management, the players and the supporters, I feel the game should take place on our ground.
"Two games in football are never the same. We were very unlucky not to win the first match at Charlton. But we have learned a little bit more about them and our belief will be even stronger for the replay.
"With our supporters behind us, we will be very confident on our own turf."
