Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Pat Holland has been delighted with the way our Academy have prepared for the start of the FA Premier Academy League campaign this weekend.

With nine First Year trainees now on board and new Academy manager John McDermott putting his new ideas across, the squad finished a creditable third in the prestigious Eurofoot Tournament in Belgium.

The lads were unbeaten through the group stages before finally losing out to eventual winners Anderlecht in the semi-finals. They then beat Beerschot 3-0 in the third/fourth place play-off.

Pat said: "John has brought in a 4-3-3 formation that he used with England and we’ve worked hard on it in pre-season, bedding in new ideas.

"Generally, it was a good four days for everyone to get to know each other. The tournament was tough but lots of plusses came out of it and the lads were a credit to the club."

We'll have a preview to the the lads' opener against Stoke on Saturday later this week...
