Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Back to School
There is a new education system, introduced by the Government to football for the first time this year, called the Modern Apprenticeship In Sporting Excellence.

For those boys who wish to receive accreditation for work that they do within football, they can follow this modern apprenticeship. This system, if they are successful, leads to an NVQ qualification.

Some of our intake of First Year Academy students will follow this new system, which asks them to learn and document more about their football training. They will receive credit for participating in football training as well as learning about nutrition, training and physical conditioning.

The studies take place in the executive boxes at White Hart Lane, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, under the guidance of tutors from the College of North East London.

Tower power
A scaffold tower has been installed pitch side at our Spurs Lodge training ground. The 12 foot platform is to be used as an improved camera position for the filming of our Under-18 F.A. Premier Academy League fixtures. The videoing of matches is strictly for coaching purposes.

This season the F.A. Premier Academy League have banned photography and video filming by the general public at all Academy matches.
