Our Under 18s couldnt find the breakthrough against Bristol City despite dominating for long periods of Saturday's goalless draw in the FA Premier Academy League.

Nevertheless, the lads stretched their unbeaten run to five games and have only lost one of their opening nine league fixtures.

Coach Alex Inglthorpe reported: "We dominated the game with the ball, had lots of possession and created 10 chances to their three, but in other games we've done better in front of goal and converted some of those chances.

"The closest we came was when David Hutton hit the crossbar, a shot that hit the underside of the bar, came down on the line and bounced to safety.

"Tomas Pekhart tested the Bristol goalkeeper a couple of times but apart from that it was a lot of pressure without creating anything too clear-cut.

"The big plusses were Troy (Archibald-Henville) and Joe (Martin) playing their first 90 minutes of the season, we were also a totally Under-18 team and there were some good performances."

Spurs U18s: Button, Mtandari, Hughton, Wells (Medley, 70), Martin, Archibald-Henville, Davis (Obika, 46), Livermore, Pekhart, Hutchins, Hutton. Unused subs: Stroud, Casey.
