Coach Alex Inglethorpe takes up the story. "Lee Butcher made a couple of good early saves and we then lost Ryan to a knee injury after about 25 minutes, a blow for everyone.
"Alex Olsen came on and we played well in the second half, we had a lot of possession but it looked like we might end up losing after they scored.
"It was a disappointing goal to concede because we had a number of chances to clear the danger - we broke up the first attack, then cleared a free-kick but then put in some sloppy challenges and they finished well.
"It looked like being one of those days but we scored a fine equaliser five minutes later.
"It was a team goal, passing and movement with Sol Asajile heavily involved as we progressed down the right, he played a one-two with Yaser Kasim, picked out Jake and he finished from 20 yards.
"We had chances after that as well and Alex Olsen had a goal disallowed.
"I thought the lads showed a lot of character up against a team well-renowned in Academy football."
