Tomas Pekhart hit a hat-trick as our Under-18s secured their first league win of the season in emphatic style against Southampton.

Kyle Fraser-Allen set up Pekhart's first two goals and in-between, Sam Cox marked his first start with the second. Pekhart completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot 10 minutes into the second half before Alex Olsen and Jon Obika wrapped it up with the fifth and sixth.

Coach Alex Inglethorpe talked us through the goals. "The first was a cross from Kyle Fraser-Allen that Tomas headed home at the far post after about 20 minutes.

"The second was a real team goal, we moved the ball forward, Sam Cox drove on and provided a composed finish from 10 yards.

"Kyle did well again for the third goal. He won possession, broke forward and crossed for Tomas to finish again at the far post. That made it 3-0 at half-time.

"We were awarded a penalty 10 minutes in the second half after a push in the box and Tomas completed his hat-trick from the spot.

"Kyle then missed a penalty before setting up another goal, this time Alex Olsen, who had come on for Tomas, finished with a well-timed header after 75 minutes.

"Jon Obika wrapped it all up with the sixth goal, a side-foot finish with about 10 minutes left."
