Martin Jol picked out Aaron Lennon's cameo as the only positive at Grimsby - adding that the flying winger can be a 'big player' in the future.

The 18-year-old unleashed his lightning speed down the right flank at Blundell Park but, unfortunately, his raids came to nothing.

"He proved a point to me and I believe in him - I think he can be a big player in the future."
