We travel to Washington for a return match for the new trophy being established as part of a plan to match clubs from capital cities worldwide in friendly competition.
The Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit were the visitors to the Lane for the Tottenham Tribute Match back in October.
This game has been organised with the assistance of Spurs legend Jurgen Klinsmann - who graced the turf at the Lane again in that match - and his company Soccer Solutions.
As well as the match, our itinerary will include a series of coaching seminars in and around Washington, D.C.
"It will be a good experience," said Simon, our Player of the Year. "I've never been to America, never played out there, so I'm sure it will be interesting.
"It will be a test. America did well in the World Cup and the DC players did really well at the Lane earlier in the season, the players looked fit and strong. I'm sure it will be a good contest."
Simon Davies says he's looking forward to a new experience when we fly out to America to face DC United in May.
