A TIME AND PLACE FOR STANDING

Football is an emotive and passionate game and there are times when supporters will stand.

Football is an emotive and passionate game and there are times when supporters will stand.

However, the persistent standers are causing us concern as this has a knock-on effect with others behind who have no choice but to also stand. When this happens, a number of fans, including the elderly and the young, simply cannot see.

The Club is required, by law, to deal with persistent standers and they will be warned and then ejected. Ejection from the Stadium carries a minimum three-match ban.

We want to work with the fans to avoid this happening and would ask that you please take on board the problems experienced by those around you if you continue standing.

Please listen to the Stewards who ask you to sit and work with them so that everyone can enjoy matchdays. Football is a game for all and all should be allowed to view it and share the special atmosphere that is experienced here at White Hart Lane.
